Life on this big ball is a bit crazy. We have so much coming at us and so many decisions, choices, and plans to make. My hope is that by sharing wisdom, tips, and tricks that I’ve learned over the years, it will make your journey a little easier. My goal is to create a space for others to come and feel encouraged, educated and energized. And, I especially want to help you tap into your God-given intuition so you are more confident in being able to hear His still small voice.

But before you want to take any of my advice, I'm sure you would like to know a little more about me. So, here goes. I've been happily married to the love of my life, Tim, for over 34 years. I am mama to two amazing grown children, Dulce & Joshua. Mother-in-love to Hunter. And, Gigi to two adorable little girls who bring me such joy!

I'm an only daughter to an aging mother, so I understand parenting the parents. We've walked the long road of dementia with my father-in-law. We have learned firsthand the great importance of treating our bodies and minds well, staying in a place of rest, and keeping our minds sharp. Good food, good movement, good sleep, and a grateful attitude make all the difference in our quality of life.

Over my life I have been a life-long learner. I love to learn new things and new ways of doing old things. I love digging in to The Word and yearn for deeper fellowship with Jesus! I homeschooled my children. I’ve written cookbooks for people that have food allergies or restricted diets. I’ve been the Chief Operating Officer of our companies. I’ve worked in Silicon Valley at a large tech company. I'm a Scrum Master, and yes I can explain what that is. LOL.

I’m a foodie and love to cook. I love decorating, traveling, and seeing new cultures and places. I love red wine and a good Old Fashioned. I am a bit of a cherry snob - only Luxardo's for me!

Oh and did I mention that my husband and I live, work and travel full-time in our Motorhome that we lovingly call Theo!

You will find anything and everything from motherhood to health and wellness, homeschooling to cooking, marriage & family to ministry, and travel to cuddling up at home. You’ll get practical tips and tricks from my life and learned experiences.

So grab a cuppa (or a glass of red) and hang out with me. Let’s do this thing called life and let’s do it well! As Mae West said,
“You only live once, but if you do it right,
once is enough!”

A Word from Tim

This is Glori’s husband, Tim. I asked her if she would let me write an introduction for her website.

Glori is a woman that seeks after the Lord above everything else. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her support for me has given me the strength and confidence to achieve beyond anything I could ever imagine. She has the unique ability to make those around her believe that they are her top priority. That skill has convinced me and our children, Dulce and Joshua, that we are always number one in her life.

On top of taking care of us, she is also an author, operations specialist, and a health and wellness expert. She has run multiple businesses over the years and continues to create and build as if she is just getting started. She has been faced with many challenges in life from youth to adulthood. And, she chose to use those trials to press in closer to the Lord. That pressing has forced her to grow and change the way she thinks and lives. Now, she wants to use those life experiences to help people just like you “Live Glorified”.

Her heart is huge and she has such a deep love for those around her. If you connect with her, I have no doubt that you will be Glorified!

Next Thing

I thought "mom" was the best job ever until ...

I became "Gigi!"

Grandchildren are the absolute best gift from God!

One

I Love Snow!

If it is going to be cold, then it needs to be snowing. A stroll in the snow is my favorite!

Two

I have been married to my best friend, Tim, for well over half our lives. We dated a year and were engaged for two years before our wedding.

He says he fell in love with me at first sight! How romantic. I sure love this man.

Three

This is my family! I adore this group of people more than I can put into words.

They make life fun. I absolutely love to adventure with them. And, yes the world does kind of revolve around the tiny one in the center. LOL!

Four

Talk about a blast from the past!

Believe it or not, I was Miss University of Georgia way back in the 80's.

Five

Having 6 of your top 10 strengths as Executing in the Clifton Strength Finder means that you have a strong preference for taking action and getting things done. Executing strengths are related to your ability to implement and complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Having this many Executing strengths in my top 10 indicates that I am highly driven and motivated to turn plans into reality, I enjoy finding practical solutions to problems, and I have a talent for organizing and managing projects. I am a goal-oriented individual who values results and has a strong sense of urgency.

As an Executor, I embody a strong drive for action and achievement. I take pride in ticking off items from my to-do list, and even add unforeseen tasks to ensure I can check them off too. This is because I see each day as a new challenge, a game to win, where I start with a score of zero and strive to make progress. My competitiveness fuels this desire to succeed and get things done.

It is remarkable to note that the likelihood of anyone else having the same 34 Clifton Strengths in the same order as I do is minuscule, highlighting the unique gifts and talents that the Creator has bestowed upon each of us for specific purposes in His kingdom. This truly astounds me.

Have you taken the Clifton Strength Finder Assessment? Let me know your top strengths and if you agree with your results!
